“A picture is the expression of an impression. If the beautiful were not in us, how would we ever recognize it?” – Ernst Haas
I feel like I was born a photographer, and I feel lucky to have always been able to work in my profession. Joy and enthusiasm are the qualities that best represent me; I try to enjoy every new moment spontaneously.
I work in color and black and white, trying to document unusual, spontaneous moments of everyday life from unusual angles, showing everyday people and telling their stories.
Over the course of my career I have traveled extensively doing street and documentary work. I enjoy getting close to my subjects, interacting with them and making them look me in the eye and participate; to feel comfortable with my presence.
I have worked a lot with artists and musicians and feel as comfortable photographing people in a studio a I do photographing nature and landscapes.
I have exhibited and been published in Spain and Latin America.
Always very restless, I have settled in Mallorca, where I have mostly balanced my freelance work with regular trips abroad.
In recent years I have had the opportunity to collaborate with NGOs in Africa and India, such as Carpio Perez and Vicente Ferrer, projects that have allowed me to meet and experience many wonderful people and cultures.
“Las limitaciones de la fotografía están en uno mismo, pues lo que vemos es lo que somos. Si la belleza no estuviera en nosotros, ¿cómo podríamos reconocerla?”. – Ernst Haas
